Description: drugs described: (1) vembu (Azadirachta indica A.Juss.) flowers, dried in the shade and powdered - 1 part, keezhkai nelli (Phyllanthus amarus K.Schum. et Thonn.) samoola choornam - half a part, portrilaikaiyan (Wedelia chinensis (Osbeck.) Merr.) choornam - half a part, thoothuvalai (Solanum trilobatum Linn.) choornam - half a part, chukku (Zingiber officinale Rosc.) - half a part, milakku (Piper nigrum Linn.), thippili (Piper longum Linn.), kadukkaithol (Terminalia chebula Retz.), nellivartal (Emblica officinalis Gaertn.), lavangam (Syzygium aromaticum (Linn.) Merr. et Perry), lavangapattai (Cinnamomum verum Presl), elarisi (Elettaria cardamomum (Linn.) Maton), vettiver (Vetiveria zizanioides (Linn.) Nash), and thandrikaithole (Terminalia bellirica (Gaertn.) Roxb.); all these ingredients are mixed in a kalvam rubbed with lime juice for three days; pills of 130 mg are made; one or two pills are taken twice a day; (2) ayathoothuvalai matirai: one part of kantha aya rasa chenduram, 4 parts of dried choornam of thoothuvalai leaves; rubbed with thuthuvelai leaf juice for 2 days and made into pills of pepper size; dose: one to twopills twice a day; (3) ekku chenduram with honey, 100 to 200 mg twice a day
